College History
ACEM was founded as the Queesnland College of Oriental Medicine in 1987. Since then, it has continued to develop the courses offered to now include accredited acupuncture and equine acupuncture training.
We are constantly upgrading our courses to include innovative advances in acupuncture and oriental therapies. The College offers Nationally Recognised Training in Shiatsu.The Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies (HLT50207) is Austudy/Abstudy approved.NTIS # 30835
The College also offers an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and Oriental Therapies which is accredited by The Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).This course includes various techniques in acupuncture including Japanese styles of theory and practice.
A Diploma in Equine Acupuncture and Shiatsu is also available for those seeking a career in the Equine Industry.Graduates from this qualification can obtain insurance from Insurance House and OAMPS.
ACEM is pleased to announce that it has recently been granted registration by Cricos (Provider #02903M) to offer courses to international students.
