Bellingen Campus

The Bellingen Campus is located at North Farma little patch of sub-tropical paradise, with vast mountain views. It is a beautiful space for learning & healing. North Farm grows its own organic produce and makes locally-sourced, lovingly-cooked food. It offers accommodation with a simple 'bush-zen' style. Outside the training hall there is a spectacular amphitheatre containing a circle of standing stones. The College is located just 3.5km from the centre of Bellingen, at 165 Hydes Creek Road, Bellingen.

The Bellingen College offers Nationally Recognised Training in ShiatsuAcupuncture, and Remedial Massage (Eastern).

Bellingen is a CRICOS accredited training centre  [provider #02903M] offering Overseas Students the opportunity to study Shiatsu or Remedial Massage to the very high national standards.

Fee Assistance

The VET-FEE HELP for the Diploma level courses will be available from July 2012.

This fee assistance will be available for students to start their Internal Units (face to face teaching) in the Mid-Year Intake in July.

Those students keen to start their studies now, can begin with the External Units (by distance education) and workshops.

Training

For students our focus is on individual training in a mentor style of tuition, with class sizes kept small so that individual attention is assured.

Units of study are offered in One-week Intensive Blocks. The advantages of Intensives include increased motivation, commitment, concentration, stimulation and enthusiasm, and stronger relations among students. It also accommodates people who must travel from a greater distance to college (accommodation is available on-site and nearby in town).

We also focus on the students’ health and well-being. Each training day starts with a yoga session or qi-gong to improve and maintain vitality and optimum health.

All courses are designed to equip the graduate with the skills necessary to be a well rounded health professional. Training includes a strong focus on self-development and awareness and compassion for others. These attributes are fundamental components of a good practitioner.
