Equine Acupuncture

The Chinese have been applying Acupuncture and Acupressure to horses and other domestic livestock for thousands of years. Horses respond remarkably well to Acupuncture and related therapies. Training in this rapidly growing industry includes Traditional Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture and Laser Acupuncture.

Equine Acupuncture training is offered as part of the Practitioner Training in Animal care.You will be guided in the application of Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture techniques.Training in Laser Acupuncture, Osteopathic techniques, Meridian Frequency Therapy, Oriental Medicine Theory, Meridian Theory and Point Location, Differential Diagnosis, Practice Management and Horse Anatomy and Physiology are included in this qualification.

Training is offered in intensives at Equine Alliance Hunchy Rd Palmwoods.

The college beliieves that graduates should work in conjunction with vets and should not attempt to diagnose using  western medical methods and terminologies.

Equine Shiatsu

Horses respond remarkably well to Shiatsu. Equine Shiatsu is easy to learn and apply and is a very gentle yet powerful modality.

The Energy pathways on a horse have been detailed in charts that date back 2000 years.

A similar method of Shiatsu massage is applied to horses as to humans i.e. incorporating the application of gentle yet firm pressure.

People of any size and strength can easily learn and apply Equine Shiatsu for health maintenance or health improvement.

The 2 day intensive Seminar costs $650.00 and includes comprehensive notes and all the practical training

A further 3 days of training is offered for those wishing to also commence study in Equine Acupuncture.
