Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture treatments are available by appointment at the Sunshine Coast and Lismore campuses.

Clients are offered a variety of Acupuncture styles including:

• Traditional Chinese Acupuncture
• Japanese style Acupuncture
• Ion Pumping Chords
• Laser Acupuncture (ideal for children)

Acupuncture at the Lismore clinic is provided by Thomas who is a member of AACMA and offers health fund rebates for all major Heath Funds including Medibank Private.

Thomas believes that needle discomfort should be kept to an absolute minimum and uses very fine needles for treatments.

For your peace of mind, single use needles are used at the College Clinic.

Face Lift Acupuncture is also available at the Clinic. These treatments not only target tension lines on the face but also are focussed on the internal organ imbalances which are the underlying cause of face lines. Face Lift acupuncture is gentle and safe leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Acupuncture and Shiatus Treatments are also available at the Sunshine Coast campus.

Shiatsu treatments

Thomas Ebejer has been a Shiatsu practitioner since 1985. His style of Shiatsu is gentle yet deep. The effect is a profound level of relaxation and healing potential.

Thomas practices and teaches traditional and Zen shiatsu. Treaments are performed on a futon on the floor and include stretching, diet and lifestyle advice as well as corrective exercise training.

Shiatsu treatments are also available at the Sunshine Coast campus.

Student Clinic

Student Clinic is conducted at campuses throughout the year.

This is where undergraduates with at least twelve months training, diagnose and apply Shiatsu treatments to the general public.  This is a fully supervised clinic.

Booking is essential for this popular service.

Student clinic Shiatsu treatments are by donation, with proceeds going towards Lotus Children's Centre orphanage in Mongolia.  

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbal consultations are offered at the Lismore campus.

Granulated concentrates are dispensed for convienience and ease of administration. Clients may choose to have their prescriptions dispensed in capsule form. (Ideal for children).

Body Detox System

The Lismore campus offers a variety of body detox services:

• Internal cleansing herbs that are gentle, safe but very effective are sold at the College.
• The Q2 system is an electronic foot bath that assists the body in detoxing all cells throughout the body. This method helps improve many body functions that are affected by a overloaded systems.
• We have now installed an infra-red sauna tat can help speed up detoxification and relieve aches and pains.
• Chinese herbal remedies have been used for thousands of years for many body imbalances including detoxification. We use only the best patent herbal formulae available on the market.

Supplements

The Lismore campus dispensary has a variety of supplements available for purchase including organic Barley Green and Sea-Mineral supplements.
