We are Queensland's leading and longest established Shiatsu Colleges, specialising in Shiatsu and related Oriental Therapies since 1987.

International Students are welcome as ACEM is now a registered CRICOS approved training organisation {02903M}.  Training is now offered in intensives to support your training needs

The College offers Nationally Recognised Training including:

• The Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies (HLT50212). 
• The Diploma of Remedial Massage (Eastern) (HLT 50307)
• The Certificate IV Remedial Massage (HLT 40307)

The College also offers an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and Oriental Therapies which is accredited by The Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA). 

We are very pleased to announce that some graduates have been accepted by AHPRA to become fully registered acupuncturists in Australia.

We are also in the process of upgrading our Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture qualification to a Government accredited training program.

 Articulation with Southern Cross University and Charles Sturt  University is now  finalised.This will ready  the College for registration of its acupuncture training to the level of a Bachelor of Clinical Science which  commenced in July 2012.

We are also very pleased to announce that we have also finalised a partnership agreement with The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society of Australia (CMASA).

ACEM recently travelled to China to develop relationships with universities there.

We now have a mutual recognition agreement with Hunan University one of China's leading and prestigious universities.

Our students will be offered the option to either complete their training to a dgree in Australia with Hunan university lecturers or attend intensive training in Hunan university in China.

The Diploma of Animal Acupuncture and Oriental Therapies training is also available especially for those seeking a career in the Equine Complimentary Medicine industry.

As class sizes are quite small (usually between six to twelve students), students are guaranteed to get individual attention.The focus at ACEM is on quality not quantity.

CPE Training

ACEM now offers training in Dry needling.

This course is offered as a combination of correspondence units and face to face practical learning.

This course is open to Diploma gradutes in Shiatsu or Remedial Massage as well as Physiotherapist, Osteopaths and other suitably qualified health care professionals.

Cost of the training is $650 and provides 20 CPE points.

Our Sydney campus is  located in Burwood.

A campus of the college has opened in the beautiful Bellingen Valley. Located half-way between Sydney and Brisbane, and nestled in a river valley with easy access to mountains, rivers, rainforests, beaches, and a diverse population of alternative-minded people, the new Bellingen college is the ideal place to study healing arts. The location of the College is at the spectacular North Farm, with its stunning mountain views.

The Bellingen campus offers the same accredited courses: the Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies, and the Diploma of Remedial Massage. These courses are Austudy & Abstudy approved and welcome International Students. For more information, please visit the Bellingen Campus website.

The Lismore Campus is located at CentrePeace in Gumtree Mall Goonellabah.

This is a satellite  campus and offers training in small groups only.
